project Lookout Tower The Weusthag
The cabbage-shaped Corten steel lookout tower in The Weusthagpark along the A1 motorway at Hengelo, has now become a valued landmark in its surroundings. The rust-coloured object was built for a joint contest design by IAA Architects' Marko Matic, Royal IHC's Hans de Klerk and ABT's Ronald Wenting and Kars Haarhuis.
