First new construction project Elver officially launched

The shovel is definitively in the ground, the first concrete poured. Today Elver director Irma Harmelink, together with resident Ilona, gave the official go-ahead for the construction of a new house in Nieuw-Wehl. Despite the fact that the contractor had already started the preparatory work at the end of August, Elver thinks it is important to consider this particular moment. "We are very pleased that we now really started work on the new construction and renovation project. The future-proof construction will ensure that every resident will have his or her own studio / apartment, with enough individual space and private sanitary facilities. In addition, the house still offers the opportunity to meet in a cozy communal living room", says Irma Harmelink.

NEW HOME

The new building on the site in Nieuw-Wehl consists of three housing units, one of which provides replacement housing to an already existing group of residents. The other housing units are complementary.

Multiple projects

Elver has been working on the planning of new constructions and renovations for some time now. With this starting signal, Elver is making a definitive start on the planned and extensive rebuilding and new construction process of more than eighty percent of its real estate. In addition to the construction of the three residential units in Nieuw-Wehl, the construction plans in Arnhem-North and Doetinchem are also at an advanced stage. The relocation to the former Rabobank building in Wehl is planned for the beginning of next year.
