First design phase 'Vakopleidingscentrum West Twente' completed

In the afternoon of Thursday 3 October, the first design phase for the new Vakopleidingscentrum West Twente (vocational training centre West Twente) was officially completed. The parties involved Bouwgilde Vakademy, REMO West Twente, OT&L, ROC van Twente, Zorggilde Reggestreek, Ter Steege Groep, CSG Reggesteyn, Gemeente Rijssen-Holten and ROC Hoornbeeck put their signatures under a joint document.

TRANSLATION OF THE DIFFERENT AMBITIONS

In close cooperation with Kleissen Bouwmanagement & Advies, IAA Architecten has made a first translation of the ambition of the various educational institutions, government and entrepreneurs to realise a sustainable and future-oriented vocational training centre in Rijssen.

Centrally located on the Morsweg/Reggesingel, a joint training centre will be created in the coming years, where knowledge, training and functions of the future will meet and challenge each other in the Experiencelab, also with a view to preserving knowledge, skills and employment in Rijssen-Holten and the surrounding area.

After this first, crucial step, the further elaboration of the plan is currently being prepared and will find its final form in the course of 2019/2020.
