Progress on Hengelo construction site [2]

On three construction sites in Hengelo, hard work has been done at IAA Architecten's projects: 't Groothuis at Oldenzaalsestraat (urban villas and flats) has now been completed. The same goes for De Steern at Deldenerstraat (three apartment buildings). Het Woolde at Woolderesweg / Geerdinksweg (two buildings with a total of 84 nursing home places) has now been partially completed.

The building at Woolderesweg has been completed and is being used by 36 residents, the building at Geerdinksweg is still being worked on. When completed, it will accommodate 48 residents. Both buildings are divided into groups of six residents who live together. Each resident will have their own sitting/bedroom and bathroom, with each group sharing a kitchen and living room.

't Groothuis at Oldenzaalsestraat

An apartment building with 21 dwellings and a commercial plinth now stands at Oldenzaalsestraat, while a little further on, seven urban villas are positioned at Oude Postweg.

The Steern at Deldenerstraat

Three small-scale apartment buildings, each with eight luxury owner-occupied flats and private parking, are positioned in a beautifully landscaped green public space. On the roof are solar panels that generate electricity for the common areas.
