Water Authority Vechtstromen starts innovation fund
Water Authority Vechtstromen is always looking for innovative solutions to complex issues relating to water quality, climate change and sustainability. The water authority does this by working together with knowledge institutions and companies in the region. An important instrument in this cooperation is the water authority's own Innovation policy with a fund of one million euros annually to stimulate and advance suitable projects - large and small. To ensure that the money is well spent, the water board is advised by an external Innovation Council. Theo de Bruijn is a member of this council and, together with nine other experts, assesses whether initiatives submitted can be considered for funding.
