Kampus educational centre: completion imminent

On the corner of Reggesingel and Morsweg in Rijssen, Kampus's 'building full of talent' is nearing completion. An educational centre where the ROC van Twente, REMO, Bouwmensen and Zorggilde will be offering fine vocational education starting in the academic year of 2022-2023. What is special about the building is the basic idea of bringing together very different disciplines of practical education and business, creating a cross-pollination between all these different courses. The design of the building helps to achieve this.

A SILVER BUILDING WITH A BRIGHT ORANGE HUE

The colour stands out and the building needs it. Besides its extreme length and expressive front, it gives a certain impact to make sure it gets noticed. The entrance is located between new and old buildings, with the tall Experience Center at the heart of the building. Sleek aluminium-coloured exterior blinds will be installed and a large LED screen will be integrated into the facade. The building will have a technical appearance.

With this building, the courses will have a better stage to show how attractive construction, electrical engineering and care can be. In case more courses would present themselves in the future: the new construction can be extended by two more floors.
